Originally known as Markus Hermetic Doors Limited and then Envirodoor Markus Limited, Envirodoor Limited has continuously traded for over 40 years and is part of the Envirohold Group.

The Envirohold Group is a privately owned group of companies. The Group consists of five main operating companies split into two divisions, including a specialist doors division and a moveable wall division.

Envirodoor Limited sits in the specialist doors division and is based in the UK with its sister company, Interdoor AB, which is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of specialist steel doors and GRP hygienic doors, operating out of Sweden.

The moveable wall division of the Envirohold Group consists of Dividers Modernfold Limited and Sesam (UK) Limited, both situated in the UK, along with Sesamverken AB, which is based in Sweden. Collectively, they are one of Europe’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of moveable walls and folding partitions.

The Envirohold Group has a strong history of research and development in the door market. For example, part of the Envirohold Group invented and developed the GRP hygienic door, originally under the Wen-Plast name (on the Swedish island of Wen close to Envirodoor’s Scandinavian sister company, Interdoor AB). Envirodoor now sells this product in the UK under the rebranded enviroplast name.
