The
Megalite is a industrial sliding doors solution, ideal for
very large openings as its 75% tranlucency reduces lighting
costs. Its relatively light weight means that even large doors
can be opened by hand (although automation is available) and
it does not reflect radar. Each door is designed to customer's
requirements and can incorporate options such as vision panels,
pass doors, and crane flaps.
Mainly used in the aircraft industry, the doors have been
installed in many European airport maintenance facilities
and Military bases as a hangar doors solution.
The most recent development in the
UK was the supply of 4 large hangar doors at Liverpool airport.
